45. Parenting – Character Development

One of the things I have been less intentional about teaching my kids is character development. Mostly because I’m fumbling my way through it as I go. We are all told to have good character, but how much time is spent teaching it?

I think this is the number one thing that should be taught and continuously taught from toddlers to elderly. The depth of knowledge associated with character develpment is revealed to us in scriptures and we are to continue to grow in it our enire lives – it’s a never ending journey – I have heard many say, it is our only purpose on this earth.

The book I mentioned is Orchos Tzaddikim: A Treasure for Life – Insights to the Classic Guide on Character Perfection

Order one for yourself and join me in training our kids in the way they should go.
